We understand that with the rapidly changing updates on travel restrictions and cancelled or postponed public events, people are in different places when it comes to doing what is best for them and their families.  We cannot stress enough that we believe in responsible and safe travel.

Travel is who we are, and it is important to us that you feel confident when choosing and staying with Choice Hotels.  That’s why we are taking the following precautionary measures to provide peace of mind throughout your travels.” 

Please ask a front desk agent about our temporary adjustments to our cancellation policies to allow our guests the maximum flexibility in making the right CHOICE regarding travel during this time. 

Quality Assurance of Cleanliness

Daily health and safety measures are already in place at our hotel and are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19.  Those health and safety measures extend from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guestrooms and common-area cleaning procedures.  Even though California is still considered a low-risk state, we have increased the cleaning protocols for high-frequency guest touchpoints such as elevator buttons and door handles.  

Providing safe and clean environments for our guests and colleagues is always a top priority for our hotel- even more so today!  We continue to remain committed to upholding the highest quality of cleanliness and want you to feel at ease when you visit Gold Miners Inn, knowing you’ll experience the high standards that you have come to expect at our hotel.

Our team is expected to follow the WHO and CDC recommendations for everyday preventative actions to help prevent the spread of diseases and we encourage all of our guests to do the same both at home and while at our hotel.  We are actively monitoring the situation and will continue to adjust our best practices accordingly for the safety and health of our guests and staff.
